2024 Delegate Assembly

The AEA Delegate Assembly is the highest decision-making body within AEA. With over 550 delegates, the AEA Delegate Assembly is also Arizona's largest democratic deliberative body.

AEA's Delegate Assembly is the governing body for our statewide union. Every year, more than 600 educators are selected by their local unions to attend DA, where they elect members of AEA Board of Directors and discuss, debate and vote on policy resolutions and proposed amendments to the AEA constitution and bylaws. DA delegates also elect AEA's President, Vice President and Treasurer every three years.

The 2024 AEA Delegate Assembly will run from the late afternoon of May 10 through the afternoon of May 11, 2024. It will be held in a new location: the Renaissance Phoenix Downtown Hotel.

If you are an elected delegate, you can access the protected DA website here.
