The Arizona Legislative Information Service (ALIS) "Request to Speak" program (RTS) is designed to allow the public to register an opinion on bills listed on agendas and to request to speak on a bill in a committee.

Sign Up for the Arizona Legislature Request to Speak System

When the legislature is in session, during a committee hearing, the committee members, and the public, will see a list of names of people who have registered an opinion, if they wish to speak or not, who they are representing, and comments they may leave in the comment box. This information is also available if a person searches past committee agendas. Manual for using RTS.

In order to verify your activate your RTS account, it is necessary to have the initial profile created onsite at the kiosk at the state Capitol. AEA will take care of this initial step for you if you are unable to make the drive down to the Capitol, if you fill out the form below to sign up for the RTS program. By submitting this information, you are authorizing AEA to create a profile through the ALIS system on your behalf. Expect to receive a confirmation email from ALIS within two weeks.
