Request to Speak

Request to Speak Program

The Arizona Legislative Information Service (ALIS) "Request to Speak" program (RTS) is designed to allow the public to register an opinion on bills listed on agendas and to request to speak on a bill in a committee. When the committee is in session, the committee members, and the public, will see a list of names of people who have registered an opinion, if they wish to speak or not, who they are representing, and comments they may leave in the comment box. This information is also available if a person searches past committee agendas. Manual for using RTS.

Please fill in form below to sign up for the RTS program. By submitting this information, you are authorizing AEA and our partner coalition, AZ Schools Now, to create a profile through the ALIS system on your behalf. Expect to receive a confirmation email from ALIS within in two weeks.

AEA and AZ Schools Now will email you from time to time throughout the legislative session, asking for your participation through RTS on a variety of important education issues. Your information will not be shared or sold, and you can opt out of emails from AZ Schools Now at any time.

* Please note that your email address will be used as your account username, and your password can be changed once you are registered.
