Request to Speak Program

The Arizona Legislative Information Service (ALIS) "Request to Speak" program (RTS) is designed to allow the public to register an opinion on bills listed on agendas and to request to speak on a bill in a committee. When the committee is in session, the committee members, and the public, will see a list of names of people who have registered an opinion, if they wish to speak or not, who they are representing, and comments they may leave in the comment box. This information is also available if a person searches past committee agendas. Manual for using RTS.

In order to verify your activate your RTS account, it is necessary to have the initial profile created onsite at the kiosk at the state Capitol. AEA will take care of this initial step for you if you are unable to make the drive down to the Capitol, if you fill out the form below to sign up for the RTS program. By submitting this information, you are authorizing AEA to create a profile through the ALIS system on your behalf. Expect to receive a confirmation email from ALIS within two weeks.

If you already have an RTS account or you are unsure, visit the RTS Website, Sign On to enter your email and password, or select Forgot your password to receive an email with instructions to reset your password. 

AEA will email you from time to time throughout the legislative session, asking for your participation through RTS on a variety of important education issues. Your information will not be shared or sold, and you can opt out of emails at any time.

* Please note that your email address will be used as your account username, and your password can be changed once you are registered.
