Nonmembers $20
AEA Headquarters, 345 E. Palm Ln., Phoenix

A new Framework for Measuring Educator Effectiveness was adopted in 2016 with advisory language regarding teacher and principal evaluations. The framework has positive changes and school districts need to take action to implement them. Although Governor Ducey vetoed the latest evaluation statute that would’ve included even more improvements there are changes that can be made using the current framework:

  • What is in the law and what can be done to both prepare for an evaluation and advocate for changes;
  • Negotiating a better teacher evaluation system for your members.
